New Review: "Dead Alive"

Hardcore gore hounds love "Dead Alive," and it's easy to see why. Peter Jackson's 1992 vision of the undead is dripping with viscera and unbridled creativity. Unfortunately, that's about the sum of it. Plot, character, and the frustrating notion that the underlying themes of "Dead Alive" are actually more disgusting and disturbing than the onscreen splatter serve to undermine the picture. It's a series of nasty set pieces, and an example of catering to the lowest common denominator.

In any case, read about "Dead Alive" in REVIEWS.
